EMERGENCY TREE SERVICE
STORMS HAPPEN. WE CAN HELP.
Storms are inevitable. Sometimes trees get the worst of it. We take care of it all, whether it’s a downed tree, broken limbs, or dangling limbs. If your tree has become an emergency because of a storm, our emergency tree service will help you safely clean it up and remove all storm debris related to your trees.
HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOUR TREE HAS BECOME AN EMERGENCY?
Not all emergencies are related to storms. You could have a tree that’s an emergency and maybe not even know it. The following list gives some of the most common signs that a tree should at least be inspected to determine if removal is necessary.
The tree is completely or more than half dead
The tree has large open cavities that compromise strength
The tree has either vertical or horizontal cracks that could lead to the tree coming apart. These can be difficult to detect if you don’t know what to look for.
The tree is growing mushrooms or other fruiting bodies. This could mean root rot or extensive decay within the tree even if it’s not visible.
The tree has a very strong lean
The tree has been topped at some point and is showing signs of severe stress. Find out why topping is no longer a recommended practice.
DO WE CHARGE EXTRA FOR EMERGENCY TREE CARE?
In short, yes. Most of the time emergency tree care requires expertise, techniques, and equipment that are just more expensive. Many times we are trying to prevent damage to a tree from causing more damage to property. For example, say a storm breaks two limbs out of a tree, but they don’t fall completely to the ground. The ends are resting on the ground, but they are still hanging by a thread to the tree. And perhaps there is a fence or other structure under the limbs that hasn’t yet been damaged, but will be if those limbs break off the tree. Our first priority will be to secure those limbs so if they do break completely, they can’t fall and cause more damage. This extra work requires extra cost.
